Aaron Jensen

–

Provo, Utah

We remember Aaron Doyle Jensen, affectionately known by many as "Thor," who navigated the world with an adventurous spirit and a tenacity that was truly inspiring. Born on June 30th, 1977 in Ogden, UT, Aaron lived a life filled with resilience, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family. He left us on August 8th, 2026, leaving a lasting legacy of perseverance and love.

Throughout his life, Aaron displayed a deep-seated dedication to his family, his career as a Shop Manager in the manufacturing industry, and his more adventurous pursuits. He was a man of many talents, but it was on the trails and in the mountains where Aaron truly felt at home. His adventurous spirit drove him to run multiple marathons, ultra marathon 50-mile and 100-mile runs, his most notable achievement being his impressive 4th place finish at the Bryce Canyon 100-mile run. Despite his many personal achievements, what mattered most to Aaron were his children. He was a proud and devoted father and grandfather, always eager to share in their successes and milestones.

Aaron left a lasting impact on those who knew him. His inspiring personality and resilient spirit were captured in his photography, which he often paired with motivational quotes. His positive and encouraging attitude was a beacon for his many running friends and inspired people worldwide.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Jennifer Jensen; his mother, Valerie Jensen; his children, Timothy Jensen, Jacob (Jocelynn) Jensen, Allison Jensen, and Kade Jensen; his grandchildren, Finnley and Jack Jensen; his brother, Bradley (Jessica) Jensen, and their children, McKenzie, Rachel, and Nathan Jensen. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jensen.
