Benjamin Paul Campbell

Benjamin Paul Campbell, 46, of Price, Utah, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 from injuries sustained in a fatal car accident. Ben was born to Lonnie and Susan Campbell on July 26, 1977 in Provo, Utah.

After Ben graduated from Payson High School he made his career out of being a heavy equipment diesel mechanic. Ben spent the last few years working at Double Down Heavy Equipment Repair. He really enjoyed his time working there where he made countless friends.

Ben had many hobbies, especially anything to do with the outdoors. One of his proudest moments was when his daughter Shelbi harvested a nice bull elk on a youth elk hunt. He bragged about it to everyone. Another one of Ben’s passions was snowmobiling. He was so excited when his boys Chandler and Landyn were showing interest in his same hobbies. He loved going sledding and snowmobiling where he would slide down the snowy hills with Ali as well as playing with his beloved dog Zander. Ben also loved camping trips with friends and family where he was always up for a good time and a smart aleck remark.

Ben and his sister Amber were battling cancer together hand in hand. Ben had just gotten the news that his cancer was in remission less than a month ago. He was patiently waiting for Amber to get the same news. They always joked about who was mom’s favorite and who she was going to bring home first. Well, looks like Ben’s the favorite.

Ben was preceded in death by his mother Susan Marie Campbell and many grandparents. He is survived by his father Lonnie Campbell; children, Shelbi (Oaklie) Campbell, Chandler Snider-Campbell, Landyn Campbell, Susan Alice Campbell AKA Ali; siblings Amber (Brad) Stokes, Joshua Campbell, Autumn (Jared) Evans and girlfriend Nicole Butkovich.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bergmortuary.com.
