Bobbie Loader

–

Provo, Utah

Our beloved Bobbie Mae Loader, affectionately known as "Bob" and "Aunt Boobs," passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on August 20, 2026, at the age of 48.

Born on April 12, 1978, in Payson, Utah, Bobbie lived a life defined by courage, compassion, adventure, and selfless devotion to others. She was raised in Mapleton, Utah, and later made her home in Provo, where she worked in her family's machine shop, Loader Machine. While she took great pride in her work, Bobbie's greatest passions were found in the people and animals she loved, the outdoors she adored, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness.

Bobbie possessed a heart as big as the mountains she loved to explore. Her seven-and-a-half-year battle with cancer revealed a strength, grace, and determination that inspired everyone blessed to know her. She became our hero, not only because of her courageous fight, but because she never stopped caring for others along the way. Even during her most difficult days, she focused on making the world a better place.

One of Bobbie's greatest passions was rescuing and caring for cats. Throughout the last several years of her life, she dedicated countless hours working alongside local rescues to help reduce the cat overpopulation. She tirelessly trapped, spayed, neutered, and cared for unsheltered cats, giving them a chance at healthier and safer lives. Her compassion knew no bounds.

Bobbie also found joy and peace in nature and creativity. Whether she was fishing, camping, conquering challenging rock-crawling trails, or painting during her treatments, she embraced life with enthusiasm and wonder. She taught us that strength and beauty can coexist, and that even in hardship, there is room for joy, laughter, and love.

Bobbie is survived by her devoted husband, Todd Loader, whom she married on April 14, 2012; her children, Devin (Kimberly) Olsen, Cayla (Julian) Petersen, and Damian (Regina) Clark; and her stepchildren, Riley (Paola) Loader, Austin (Lexie) Loader, and Jessica (Garrett) Loader. She was the proud and loving grandmother of 11 beautiful grandchildren, with one precious granddaughter on the way. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent loving, spoiling, and creating memories with them. She is also lovingly remembered by her parents, Kathleen and Robert Olsen; her siblings, Jessica (Jeremy) Jensen, Lisa Olsen, Brenda Olsen, and Shane (Melissa) Leavitt; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love.

She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved nieces, Shandy Contreras and Nichole Olsen; her mother-in-law, Beverly (Steve) Fowler; her father-in-law, Harry Loader; her grandparents, Porter and Margaret Leavitt; and many other loved ones who undoubtedly greeted her with open arms as she crossed into eternal peace.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Berg Mortuary - Provo, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah 84606. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the mortuary from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
