Brian Hamilton

–

Vineyard, Utah

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Brian Russell Hamilton, a charismatic, generous, dedicated, and loving man, who departed this life on June 28, 2025. Born on August 30, 1959, in Wenatchee, Washington, Brian was a beacon of light to all who knew him. His kindhearted nature and unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and faith were the cornerstone of his life, making him a beloved figure in his community.

Brian was an adventurer at heart. His love for sports and outdoor activities, such as snow skiing, water skiing, basketball, softball, scouting, and camping, was contagious. His zest for life was complemented by his generous spirit and unwavering dedication to serving others. Brian was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a devout disciple of Jesus Christ. He served in various capacities within the Church, always seeming to find his way to engage with the youth, dedicating countless hours to guiding and mentoring generations of young men and women. His dedication to scouting earned him the prestigious Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America.

Above all else, Brian was a family man. Survived by his wife, Kim Hamilton, and their sons, Christopher (Sidne), Connor (Ariel), Phillip (Sheradyn), Duncan (McKenna), and Parker (Tacha) Hamilton, and 10 grandchildren (preceded in death by one grandchild). Brian's legacy of love and dedication will live on through them. He is also survived by his mother, Kay Hamilton, and four siblings (Kevin, Melanie, Susan, and Blake). He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Hamilton. Brian's greatest pride was in the accomplishments of his sons. His commitment to his family, friends, and faith remain an inspiration to all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Cascade Ward Chapel, 955 North 300 East, Orem, Utah 84057.
