Provo, Utah

Cindy Lynn Allman Andersen (59), passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on January 3, 2025. Cindy was born to Stanley Dwayne Allman and the late Linda Wing Allman in Provo, Utah on August 18, 1965. As their first child, she brought much anticipated light and joy both to her parents and their families.

Cindy graduated from Mountain View High School in 1983 and attended Ricks College for one year, where she began shaping her future. It was at Ricks College that she met and started dating Michael Bingham. She and Michael were married on July 11, 1986. They welcomed two sons, Brandon Perry Bingham (born 1990) and Bryon Michael Bingham (born 1992). Her marriage to Michael later ended.

She married Timmothy Jex of Provo, Utah, for a brief time, but their marriage also ended.

She then married Jackson Andersen, whom she was later sealed to in the Provo Temple in 2011. Her marriage to Jackson brought over 20 years of partnership and faith.

Throughout her life, Cindy faced many health challenges and she also endured the unimaginable losses of her two sons, Brandon (2021), Bryon (2022), her mother Linda (2010) and her beloved husband, Jackson Andersen (2023). Through it all, her faith in her Savior and in the Plan of Salvation remained strong, inspiring many who knew her.

She is survived by Stanley Dwayne Allman (father), Stanley Ray Allman (brother) and his wife Andrea Fairbanks Allman, Amy Allman Wanner (sister) and her husband Steven G. Wanner, Caitlin Doerflein Bingham (daughter-in-law, Bryon), five nephews, two nieces and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Cindy will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and the love she shared with many that she met. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her life was a testament to her resilience and love for her Savior, family, friends, and those close to her.

The family would like to express how grateful they are to the countless caregivers, both at Wasatch Mental Health and at Little Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Nursing for the great care provided to Cindy as required over the last several years of her life.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be extended at www.bergmortuary.com.
