Donald Leon Harvey

Donald Leon Harvey, 85, was born August 20, 1930 in Delta, Colorado to James Edward and Sylvia Bell Harvey. He passed from this life peacefully at Utah Valley Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2016.

Don married Hermine Rowley in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. 67 years together brought them 5 daughters: Carolyn Harmon, Connie Butler, Colleen Goodliffe, Sharon Harvey and Dawn Nelson, 23 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Don was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His growing years were spent in Colorado, Nevada and Utah. He graduated from Provo High School. Don’s entire adult life was lived in Provo, Utah spent in service to family, friends and anyone he met who needed help. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.

Don’s love of family, his interest in everyone around him, and his sense of humor will be missed. His memory will be cherished by all of us.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Provo Peak 4th Ward Chapel, 667 North 600 East, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Thursday, June 23, from 6-8:00 p.m. and at the church Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
