Ellen June Wright Reid, fondly known as June, was born in the sunny city of El Paso, Texas, on June 19, 1938, and passed away on October 29, 2026, with the same fiery spirit she carried throughout her 88 years. A dedicated and resilient woman, June's life was filled with smart choices and generous acts. Her journey from a cashier at a local college to the Assistant to the Dean of Trades and Technology at Utah Valley University was a testament to her unwavering determination and unmatched work ethic. June was no stranger to life's adventures, whether she was savoring delicious food, exploring new destinations, or losing herself in the melodies of her favorite music (especially Roy Orbison). Her beloved cats were her fur family, and they were never far from her side.
In her heart, June held her family dear and cherished the bonds she formed with each one. Her gatherings were filled with laughter, long chats, and an abundance of love. Dinners together and attending events were her way of sharing herself with those she cared for. From Provo to Richfield, June made sure that her warmth and kindness were felt by everyone she met. Her feisty nature and incredible intelligence made her a force to be reckoned with, and she will be dearly missed by her children, Robert Snow, Randy Snow, Rick Snow, Laura Haycock, and Teresa Aranda, her brother Richard Wright, her significant other Tim Warren, and a legacy of grandchildren and great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her loving parents, Edward and Marian Wright, her siblings Glenda Wright and Lisa Wright, and her husband, Salomon Aranda.
