John L. Peterson

Our loving son, brother, father and grandfather, John L. Peterson, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2013. He was born August 31, 1974 in Provo, Utah to Keith Peterson and Pamela Fay Fox. He was raised in American Fork and Orem. He graduated from Mountain View High School.

John was married to Audra Adams on September 17, 1993. They later divorced. He loved his family, especially his grandson, Johnathon. He was the light of his life. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering on his truck and watching movies with his children. He worked in the construction and concrete business for many years.

He is survived by his parents; children, Aubrey Lynn Peterson and Colton John Peterson; grandson, Johnathon; brother, Wayne Riley (Heather) Ney of St. George; sister, Sue Ann Lensch of Provo; grandmother, Mina Sweat Juber of Arizona; fiancée, Ginger Sue Carter of Provo; step-sons, Christopher and Tyler; 2 half-sisters, Angela Peterson and Misty Palmer; 3 step-sisters and 1 step-brother; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles that he loved very much. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne Clifford Fox and Gladys Joy Riley Fox; cousin, Kimberly Marie Fox; and step-father, Tommy Lamar Fowler.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 500 North State Street, Orem, Utah. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 6-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
