Our loving mother, grandmother and friend, Judy Gail Skinner Sanders, passed away May 13, 2023 at the age of 73 in Springville, Utah. Judy was born November 11, 1949, in Dallas, Texas to Henry Lee Skinner Jr. and Edna Lera Byers. She married Wilford Roscoe Nunn on December 2, 1967 and they had two beautiful children together. She later married William Haynes Haas on January 12, 1974, and Herman Ray Sanders on December 15, 1978 and added one more delightful child to their family.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions of service throughout her life. She touched many lives with her fun and exuberant personality. Judy was one of the most giving and friendly people you could ever meet. If you ever showed up at her house, you would never leave without being offered a glass of grapefruit juice, Dr. Pepper or some kind of food, trinket or gift that she always had on hand. She was witty, funny and welcomed anyone and everyone with open arms. She loved her family more than anything! She always wanted to be around them and found great joy in each of her children, grandchildren and other family members and friends.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Angela Marie (Timothy) Seib; sons- William Allen (Brenda) Nunn, Matthew Scott (Heidi) Sanders; grandchildren Kyia Marie (Joshua) Rosandich, Abbie Lorrin Hammad, Brian Ali Hammad Jr., Jonathan Zackary Egan, Aidan Roy Seib, Avery Gail Seib, Michael Allen Nunn, Elizza Robinson, Brionna Robinson, Gwen (Tyler) Haroldsen, Alexa Robinson, Elena Mae Sanders, Joseph Matthew Sanders, Rebecca Anne Sanders, Kimball Scott Sanders; nieces- Jane Ellen (Lloyd) Krutsinger, Suzanne (Brian) Anderson, Jennifer Nixon; nephew- Jared Spencer Nixon; and great grandchildren- Gage Alexander Rosandich, Eli Egan, Lawish Ray Jiba.
