Known for her unwavering faith, LaRee was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and believed it was the only true church on the earth. Her dedication to her faith was reflected in her lifelong service in various roles within the church, including as scout leader, Primary chorister, and Sunday School teacher and Primary teacher. As stated in the verse she lived by, "I have no greater joy but to know my children walk in truth." (3 John 1:4)

Her hobbies included playing games, watching old movies, reading, and going to the temple with her husband. LaRee's happiest moments were spent vacationing with her family and witnessing her children serve others and the church, which she considered her greatest achievement. Her legacy of service, love, and faith will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
