"Peggy" Margaret Ann Gleave Obituary (1943

Margaret Ann Catherine Paulick Aakhus Gleave (also known as Peggy), passed away October 30, 2023 in Provo, UT after a courageous battle with cancer. Peggy was born November 18, 1943 to Walter Gerhardt and Lillian Catherine Kunz Paulick in Chicago, IL. Her family moved to WI in the early 1950’s, then to IL, MN, AZ and then landed in UT. She worked as an executive secretary and financial accountant. She converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after she married Lynn Gleave in July of 2009. She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, gardening, ATV rides, and traveling with Lynn. She also canned and made preserves which she enjoyed giving away. Lynn passed away July 31, 2023. Peggy said she has felt more at home here in Provo because of all the support and the neighbors around her. Peggy is survived by her sister JoAnn Buck, adopted daughter Vicki Warneka, 6 grandchildren: Hannah (Kolter) Nielsen, Shelby Salmi, Jordan Salmi, Grace Sandy, Ryan Warneka, Kyle Warneka; and 2 great grandchildren: Arya Nielsen and Briar Nielsen. Also by Lynn’s children: Robert Gleave, Staci Wright, Tami Doyle, Victoria Riso Taylor and LynnAnn Gleave, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lynn, adopted daughter Jennifer Warneka and brother William Paulick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Bonneville 10th Ward Chapel, 1498 East 800 South, Provo, Utah. The family will receive friends at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday, November 3 from 6-8:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
