Marie Rohbock Davis, in the 97th year of her life, passed away on 15 March 2026 peacefully at home in Orem. Marie was born 23 May 1929 in American Fork, Utah to Anna Bargähr and Carl Rohbock. She married Delmar Boyd Davis and enjoyed 72 beautiful years together. They are the parents of five children. Marie served as a full-time missionary in the Southern California Mission (1950-1952) and faithfully served in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. With her husband, she served for many years as a temple missionary in the Frankfurt Temple in Germany and in several temples in Utah County.
Marie is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Porter and Cherisse Marie Davis, son Thomas Vance (Sherrie) Davis, 8 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Del, Andrew Spencer Davis (son), Anne Davis (daughter), parents, 7 brothers (Charles, Anton, William, George, Frank, Robert, Jack), and 3 sisters (Helen, Annie, Louise).
Marie brought a lot of beauty, joy, and fun into life. She greatly loved God and her family as they were always first and foremost in her thoughts. She was a loyal friend whose friendships lasted a lifetime. Many friendships started in childhood including an extremely close group of girls called 'The Terrible Twelve' of which she was the last survivor. She loved life. She was spiritual, happy, kind, loving, a gifted vocalist, optimistic, creative, gentle, and extraordinary. She will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.
Sincere love and gratitude to her beloved nieces and nephew, grandchildren, cousins, and wonderful friends/neighbors who offered friendship, love, kindness, and companionship--especially since Del's passing. You made a difference in her life and we, her children, are eternally grateful.
