Mary Ellen Scott

Mary Ellen Scott passed away Friday, October 3, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1938 to Velma Elizabeth Denhalter and Arthur Penrod.

She married Joseph Keith Scott on May 2, 1958. Mary Ellen worked for the Elks Lodge as a banquet manager for over 20 years.

She is survived by her children Kenneth (Kimberly), Arthur (Joni), Mary Anne (Kelly), Dennis, Patrick (Teresa) and her Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter JoEllen.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be extended online at www.bergmortuary.com.
