Nettie Ruth Carter Boren Obituary (1946

Nettie Ruth Carter Boren passed in peace November 23, 2022 at the age of 76. Ruth was born February 1, 1946 to Betty Ruth Draper and Howard Carter. Ruth graduated from Provo High School. She married Dee Boren in 1964 and was blessed with a big family, then later divorced. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Ruth had a passion for traveling, scrapbooking, researching family history, and was known for her ability to sense when people needed help. She enjoyed making others happy. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents: Betty Ruth Draper Carter Durbin and Howard Carter, siblings: Charles Carter, Arvin Carter, and Kent Carter. She is survived by her siblings: Robert, Doug, Harold, and Joe; her children: Nick, Stephanie, Dave, Christy (Scott), Rob (Shelly), Cynthia, Tim (Stacia), Danny (Lamanda), Mike, Aaron (Whitney), Shawn (Natosha); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the Provo Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for everything they did for Ruth and making her comfortable. Thank you for your tender care. Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services for Ruth at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Viewings will be held at the mortuary Sunday, December 4 from 6-8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:30-10:50 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.
