Ona Denise Mellor Obituary (1954

Denise Mellor passed away April 8, 2018 in American Fork, Utah. She was born October 17, 1954 in Richfield, Utah to Robert Mellor and Ferris Christensen Mellor. She graduated from Orem High School and completed the Dental assisting program at Provo College. Denise loved her family dearly! Her best times in life were spent with her daughter and grandchildren. Some of her greatest joys were laughing and making jokes with her daughter. She had a great sense of humor. One family joke was “Denise might be late, but she was always worth the wait!” Her grandchildren would come and spend the weekend with her. She loved playing their favorite games and preparing their favorite foods. Grandma or “Nana” was her favorite name. Denise was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Harvey, and her beloved son Chad. She is survived by her two sisters, Pat and Andrea, as well as her daughter Lacey and five grandchildren: Wyatt, Brooklyn, Reese, Jayda and Jeremy. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Orem City Cemetery, 1500 North 800 East, Orem, Utah. Per Denise’s request, there will be a family viewing at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the cemetery.
