Rick Roberts

Richard “Rick” Arthur Roberts was born February 14, 1933, in Los Angeles, California to Arthur and Ruth Roberts. He passed away on January 13, 2024. He was 90 years old.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, LaRene and his brother, Don. Surviving family is his older sister Pat, his wife, Mary Jo and their 13 children, 68 grandchildren, and 77 great grandchildren.

He spent 32 years living in Ridgecrest, California, working at the Naval Weapons Center with the Department of Defense as a Physicist. He moved to Provo in 1998 enjoying the close proximity to BYU since he is an Alumni. Rick is a lover of learning, music, and was a world traveler. He loved the outdoors and its testament of God's love for His children.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Pleasant View 1st Ward Chapel, 650 East Stadium Avenue, Provo, Utah. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. The casket will be closed. Interment will follow at Timpanogos Memorial Gardens.
