Rosamaria Eckhardt Rodier Obituary (1961

Rosamaria Eckhardt Rodier, 61, of Provo, Utah passed away on January 3, 2023 after a long battle with dementia. Rosamaria, or “Ocha” as she was lovingly called, was born in December 1961 to Sara Del Carmen Munoz and Carlos Eckhardt Maureira in Hualqui, Chile. On May 16, 1984, Rosamaria married the love of her life, Nelson Rodier, in Vina del Mar, Chile. Rosamaria and Nelson went on to have a son, Ivo Max Rodier. The small family then moved to the United States in 1988. Rosamaria went on to have two more children, Camila Rodier and Melissa Rodier. Rosamaria and Nelson resided in Utah for the remainder of their time on earth. Rosamaria was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and passionately lived to be kind and serve others. Rosamaria is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Rodier, her mother, Sara Del Carmen Munoz, and her father Carlos Eckhardt Maureira. She is survived by her 6 siblings, Veronica Eckhardt, Sara Eckhardt, Rodolfo Eckhardt, Mabel Eckhardt, Eyisela Eckhardt, and Alex Eckhardt, her 3 children, Ivo Max Rodier, Camila Rodier, Melissa Pease, and her 4 grandchildren.
