Russell James Evans

Russell James Evans was born on December 8, 1982 in Provo, Utah to Deborah and Russell Evans. After his long battle with addiction and depression, Russell decided to end his life on July 21, 2018.

Russell was loved by many and loved many. He was a great friend to all and was always there to listen. His greatest talent was making people laugh with his pranks and jokes. Russell loved his son Lincoln (Linky) more than anything. His world revolved around him. Russell enjoyed the outdoors such as longboarding, camping and hiking. He was also very competitive in sports; he was particularly fond of soft ball. Russell loved his job with Kyco and took his job and responsibilities very seriously. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his mother, Deborah Evans; sister, Amberlee Evans; step sister, Jenny Oliver; step brother, Danny Roberts; grandmother, Betty Evans and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his dad, Russell Lee Evans; step father, Larry Roberts; brother, William Evans; step brother, Jeremy Winters; grandma, Betty Loveless; grandpa, Don Evans and step grandma, Brenda Winters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call from 1:00-1:50 p.m. prior to services. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.

Afterwards we will have a Wake at the Bowie Pavilion at the Timpanogos Park of Orem, US-189, Orem, Utah from 4-9:00 p.m. Feel free to bring to bring your bikes, longboards or Roller Blades. (Also if you’d like to bring a side of food)
