Sandra "Sandy" Carol Sivertsen

Sandra Carol Sivertsen (Sandy), age 59, passed away at home on the beautiful snowy morning of March 6, 2022. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on November 16, 1962 to Hansel Franklin, and Margrit Ann Newsome. She married the love of her life John Sivertsen on July 31,1983 in Pomfret, CT. They had two children together. Sandy had many jobs and titles in her life but the one she was most proud of was being a Mimi to her beautiful grandchildren. She was an incredible cook and so gifted in interior design, arts, crafts and gardening. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She loved holidays and always made them so special for everyone around her especially her family. There was always a story with all of her decorating especially for the holidays. Her compassion and love for her family and friends was inspiring. She had a real magic spirit and energy to her that will be greatly missed.

Her favorite quote was "I love you to the moon and back". We love you, you will be so incredibly missed and forever loved.

Sandy is survived by her husband John Sivertsen, son Quentin Sivertsen, daughter Angelika Anderson, and her grandchildren Rylan, Kylee, and Sully.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Ingrid Draleau and Ronda Guertin, grandson Brody Kukilakilaopualanakila Sivertsen, father Hansel Franklin, and her beloved dog Woodstock.
