Scherelyn Deanne Jensen Obituary (1945

Scherelyn Deanne Jensen, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2022. She was born in Ogden, Utah on November 29, 1945, the seventh of eight children to Milo and Verda May Tullis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Verda May Tullis, brother, Don Tullis, and sisters, Joan Langford, Marion Higgs, and Joyce Dawson. She is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Craig Jensen; children, Bradley (Kim) Jensen, Nathan (Ellen) Jensen, Scott (Bethany) Jensen, Deanne (Joseph) Kemper, Kristin (Dave) Dangerfield; and sixteen grandchildren. Scherelyn was a graduate of Bonneville High School, class of 1964, and a member of the high-stepping Bonneville Lakettes. She graduated from Weber State College in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She was a successful mother and elementary school teacher, whom the children all loved. At church, she served faithfully as a Relief Society President and in many callings in the Primary. She always lovingly served and cared for those around her. Her greatest success is her family. She was a great example of a disciple of Christ and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Spring Creek 3rd Ward Chapel, 651 East 1630 South, Lehi, Utah. Friends may call at the church Monday, February 21 from 6-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30-9:45 a.m. prior to services.
