Serena Falgoust, of Provo, Utah, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026 at the age of 78, surrounded by the love of her family.
Serena lived a life defined by love, service, and quiet generosity. She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together, patiently nurturing relationships and helping family members stay connected across generations. Whether through a family gathering, a shared meal, or a simple phone call, she made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. She believed that families grow stronger when they remain close, and she devoted much of her life to making that happen.
She was a servant in the truest sense of the word. Serena gave freely of her time, her talents, and her heart, always placing the needs of others before her own. She found joy in caring for family, friends, neighbors, and anyone who needed a helping hand. Her kindness was quiet but constant, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
The spirit of Serena’s home reflected the spirit of her life. Displayed on her wall was a message that welcomed everyone who entered:
“Come in and stay awhile. Leave all your worries at the door, for this is a place of peace. This is our home in which you will always be welcome and belong.”
These words were more than decoration. They were the way Serena lived every day. Her home was a refuge filled with warmth, laughter, acceptance, and unconditional love. Everyone who crossed her threshold knew they had found a place where they belonged.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2026 at the Grandview Stake Center, 1600 North 1880 West, Provo, Utah. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow in the Provo City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.bergmortuary.com.
Though Serena will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the family she lovingly united, the countless lives she touched through her service, and the enduring example of a life lived with grace, compassion, and love. Those who knew her will forever remember that they always had a place at her table, in her home, and in her heart.
