Shannon Lee Forsyth Obituary (1962

There are many words to describe Shannon...kind, loving, unselfish, strong, blunt and honest. Despite facing many challenges in life, Shannon was very thankful for everything. Even the most simple tasks would always be followed by a huge thank you! She was always sporting her Denver Bronco jersey while enjoying one of her many hobbies including collecting antique boxes, unique rocks, gardening and loving the comforting sound of her wind chimes. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses she loved the comfort she received from watching the videos and reading the daily texts and other publications. Her favorite song was, “Make the Truth Your Own” and she enjoyed her weekly family study with her kids. Family was the most important part of Shannon's life, most of all her children and grand babies. Andrew, Cassie and Richelle were her closest friends who she always put first before herself and she was grateful for her son-in-law Joe's daily help with the family. Andrew loved his Bossy more than anything else. Becoming a grandma to Nicora and Jamen was one of the greatest moments in Shannon's life. She looked up to her daddy Bill and always wanted to be strong like him in every part of her life. She and her mama Sharon became very close over the past year making many new memories. She was always thankful for her brothers and sisters help and advice. Her sister Susan was her best friend and go-to person and Jake was her hero. She loved Billy and Stacey for always taking care of her. Shannon always had too much fun with Matthew always making her laugh. She loved Amy and had a special place for her in her heart. She had fond memories of great times with her favorite uncle Kent and aunt Bobbie. Anyone that knew Shannon and became her friend felt her love and gratitude for their friendship. Shannon will be deeply missed, always loved and will hold a special place in all our hearts until we see her again. Friends may call on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 3-5:00 p.m. at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, followed by a Memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 8497 South State Road, Spanish Fork, Utah.
