Sheila L. Harrison Mason Obituary (1940

Sheila LaRue Harrison Mason was born April 3, 1940 in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada, the thirteenth of sixteen children born to Leland Albert (Bud) Harrison and Cora Pearl Reece Harrison. Sheila passed peacefully into God's loving hands on October 28, 2015. She married Leslie V. Mason on March 18, 1961, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo, Utah temple. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Lee, Merlin, Richard (Wes), Grant, Earl, Floyd and Dorothy Harrison, and one beloved grandson, Justin Franklin. She is survived by her husband, Les, sons Richard (LuAnn), Darren (Paula), Bradley and Morgan and beloved adopted daughter Rachel White. She was a much beloved grandmother to eight grandchildren: Andrew Burnett (Tabitha), Paul, Erik (Timi), Sean, Amanda, Mandy, Dallas and Melanie Mason. She also leaves nine great-grandchildren, Caine, Drake, Dorian and Kathryn Mason, Tyler, Dylan and Zaira Burnett, and Keelie and Jexx Mason. Her surviving siblings include Maxine Deglow, Elaine (Bob) Bullock, Gordon (Pat) Harrison, Don (Betty) Harrison, Cliff (Joan) Harrison, Robert Harrison, Marjorie Koenin and Lynn (Peggy) Harrison,. Sheila worked for many years for Provo School District as a cook and unparalleled baker, and truly found her vocation in feeding and caring for others. She was most in her element in the kitchen, and many friends found their way to her kitchen table through the years. She touched many lives and genuinely made the world a more loving place. She will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Grandview 13th Ward Chapel, 1260 West 1150 North, Provo, Utah.
