Spencer Conover

–

Lehi, Utah

Spencer Mark Conover, 25 years old, passed away September 25, 2026 after a heroic seven-month fight against cancer. A valiant man, generous friend, compassionate brother, selfless son, caring husband, and loving father, he spent his life touching the lives of any who had the pleasure of meeting him. As sure as the sun rises he left everywhere he went a better place.

A proud graduate of Broomfield High School, Spencer would go on to attend Brigham Young University Idaho and serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Antonio, Texas. He pursued a career with the United States Military as a member of the National Guard. While attending BYUI he met the love of his life Jaidyn and they were sealed together forever in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple. He loved to be outside, to be with the people he cared for, and he loved to laugh. Whenever you look toward the mountains, know that he is looking back, watching over you from his favorite place to be. Spencer’s character and journey shines through not only by the goals he refused to stop working for, or the marvelous accomplishments he managed, but by the testimonies of those he strengthened, the joyful memories of those who knew him, and the deep genuine relationships he made with all who loved him. His infectious attitude of laughter and light beams in the hearts of all who met him. His natural tendency to smile forged him into a man who always sought to make others smile with him. His deep love and unshakable resolve were enough to inspire the desire to be better and to live in a manner that Spencer always strived to live, to live in the manner of the Savior.

Spencer’s legacy is one of gratitude and loving kindness to everyone around him, and of a heart and soul that would battle through the greatest of adversities to take care of that which he loved. His heart lives on through his parents Lindsay and Mark, his siblings Tyler, Bryson, Jackson, and Ella, his family and friends who he always thought the world of, his wonderful wife Jaidyn, his energetic lab Obi, and most of all, his greatest gift to the world, his sweet daughter Enzlie.
