Stefanie Camille Lodeserto Obituary (1989

Stefanie Camille Lodeserto, 31, passed suddenly on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Stefanie was born in Santa Rosa, California on January 7, 1989. An adventurer and traveler from birth, Stefanie was raised in California, Utah, Washington, and Florida. In 2007, she graduated from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami, Florida. Stefanie then attended college in Price, Utah, where she later met and married Preston Lodeserto on July 27, 2009. Stefanie found passion for service at a young age. She was keenly aware of others and their struggles. She would reach out to them with her warm, beautiful smile and soul to comfort and uplift in ways that only she could. Throughout the years, she spent time in Ghana to work on clean water solutions, and in Romania to work on a children’s school. Not all of Stefanie’s travels were for service. She was a fearless explorer who knew her way around the New York subway system at the age of seven, toured Paris shortly after high school graduation with her aunt Julie, and cruised the Atlantic with her family. And apparently, she lived briefly in Venezuela, or so her fake I.D. claims. Stefanie had a knack for making friends quickly everywhere she went. Stefanie loved the outdoors, music, dancing, family gatherings, mischief and excitement. She loved to shock people, and then to hug you (or give you a knowing look) AFTER she shocked you. She lit up every room that she walked into whether she realized it or not. For a number of years Stefanie was an only child and truly enjoyed this focused attention on her. This changed when her brother, Stone, was born. Her love and adoration for him was immediate and all consuming. A few years later she received two more siblings: brother, Jonah and sister, Madeline. To see Stefanie with her younger siblings was a confirmation of what family meant to her. It was clear that Stefanie would find great joy in being a mother. Her world revolved around these two little boys who remain here with us to bear testimony to her great love and desire to serve others. Never have children been more dressed up, more photographed, more talked about, or more loved than the two young boys who meant the world to her. Stefanie is survived by her sons, Braxton D Lodeserto and Harrison J Lodeserto; her parents, Orlando and Carey Ruiz, and Joseph Carver and Dana Randall; her brothers, Stone Ruiz and Jonah Carver, sister, Madeline Carver; and grandmothers, Maria Ruiz and Joanne Valentine. Stefanie also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins including Michael Carver, Christopher Carver, Julie Carver, Debbie Smith, Allyson Jordan, Debbie (Craig) Dunn, Ryan Valentine, Anne (Jeff) Adair, Lynette (George) Prosser, Natalie (Casey) Roberts, Miguel (Kylie) Ruiz, Sam (Lynda) Ruiz, and Richard (Kelsey) Ruiz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Lodeserto; as well as her grandparents, Roger Valentine, Sandra Carver, D Carver, and Michael Ruiz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah.
