Stephen Leslie Western

Stephen Leslie Western, 69, of Springville, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah following a short illness. Stephen was born August 23, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Myron Leslie Western, Jr. and Lorna Ruth Low Western.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa Jean Richardson Western; son, David Matthew Western; sister, Allison Ruth Western-Speaks; nephew, Jeremy David Speaks; nieces, Rachel Lynn Keisker Hamm, Jillian Leslie Speaks and Jocelyn Lorna Speaks; great-nephew, Caleb Lance Wesley Speaks. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lynda Rae Western Keisker and nephew, David Lance Keisker.

At Stephen’s request, no funeral services will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Stephen’s name to Primary Children’s Hospital.

The family will hold a memorial get together and celebration of Stephen’s life on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. for family and close friends. Mortuary service provided by Berg Mortuary, Provo, Utah. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.
