While at a dance one night, Sydnie met the love of her life, R. Mack Irwin. They both fell head over hills and soon married on January 9, 1970. They lived in Salt Lake City and Bountiful for the first year, and then moved to Oregon before finally settling in Texas.

Sydnie was a very devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend to many. She was very loving toward her beautiful grandchildren. Some of her talents were scrapbooking, genealogy, and ceramics. Sydnie loved music and was a gifted piano player. She loved her home and was very talented on turning a house into a home. Sydnie was an inspiration to us all.
