Tom Taylor

Tom Allan Taylor, of Springville, Utah, passed away at home surrounded by his family, February 14, 2011 from a long battle with cancer. He was born August 13, 1958 in Clearfield, Utah to Thomas James and Lorainne Carter Taylor. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. He graduated from Weber State in 1994. He married Linda Quillen in 1977. They had 4 children and later divorced. He married his sweetheart, Elizabeth Burton on September 2, 2005 in Springville, Utah, and they were later sealed in the Provo Temple.

He enjoyed reading, gardening, hiking and being with his family. He was known for his keen sense of humor. He was a member of the LDS church and had a strong love for his Savior. He always strived to do what was right. He loved genealogy, temple work and indexing for the church. He was the Database Administrator for Sonic Innovations, Inc. since November 2004.

He is survived by his parents; wife Elizabeth; children Mike, Nathan, Jackie and Brendon; step-children Wendy, Joshua and Jenny; 3 grandchildren; and siblings Kaye, Robert, Sana, Steve, Sheryl, Jon and Von.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Spring Creek 12th Ward Chapel, 235 East 550 North, Springville, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday evening from 6 until 8 and at the church Saturday one hour prior to services.
