Trevan Ronald Moulton Obituary (1984

Trevan Ronald Moulton, age 40, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 in Delta, Utah. He was born on March 25, 1984, in Provo, Utah to Robert Blake Valdez and Angela Moulton. He grew up hunting, fishing, boating and camping and he loved working on old Chevy trucks with his dad. He received his education in Provo, Utah. He was a proud boy scout, along with a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At 16, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which ultimately altered the trajectory of his life. After surviving ten brain surgeries and a major stroke, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, making bead necklaces, and playing solitaire. He had a special relationship with his “super, super loving Angel” mom; they spent many hours together going to monster truck rallies, concerts, rodeos, and attending family trips. As his mobility and health declined, they enjoyed the simple pleasures of life together like evening drives and listening to music. He had a huge heart and loved to befriend anybody he came across. He always had a story to tell or something special to show you. He touched the lives of countless people and taught all of us the importance of resilience, humility, and love. He is survived by his parents; grandmother Evelyn Brereton of Spring Lake, UT; sisters Jackie (Gary) Peterson of Spanish Fork, UT; Kelsey (Kent) Hinshaw of Springville, UT; and Jayla Draney of Washington, UT; nieces Alexa, Everly, and Banks; and nephews Gavin, Oakley, Learick, and Miles. Preceded in death by grandparents Alfonso (Poncho) Valdez, Lynda Valdez, and Ronald Moulton. The family would like to thank Drs. Paul K. Gardner, Lawerence Nobuhara, William Cerny, Steven Shamo, and Spencer Nielson, along with Orem Nursing and Rehab. A special thanks to Millard Care and Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. The family will receive friends at the mortuary, Friday, March 7 from 6-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow in the Provo City Cemetery.
