Ty Jasperson

Ty Jasperson, age 36, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Utah Valley Hospital. He was born June 29, 1987, in Provo, Utah, to proud parents Bruce and Holly Jasperson.

Ty was the first-born and quickly became his dad’s shadow. They were good buddies and enjoyed many hobbies together, such as hunting and working on rock crawlers. When his little sister, Brook, was born, Ty became the ultimate big brother. He always watched out for her. He loved his little sister. He also loved his sweet mom dearly and brought her so much joy. One of his greatest titles was when he became “Uncle Ty”. Jasper, Conrad, and Wylder loved and adored him.

Ty was a live-wire, fun spirit that was infectious and charmed everyone who met him. He was good-natured and would help anybody with anything. Ty has always been a treasure finder and found joy in collecting things.

He spread so much joy and kindness in his 36 years on this earth. His bright light and sense of humor will continue to touch those that knew him. Ty was so positive and never complained about the difficult path he had to take and fought hard for this life. We are grateful he is free of all the pain he has had to endure.

We will miss Ty’s enthusiasm and sparkling eyes, as he told a good story. We’ll miss the laughter that he brought into our lives. And most of all, we’ll miss his genuine goodness and kindness. We love you, Ty.

Ty is preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Christensen, grandfather, Jame J Christensen, and grandmother, Jill Jasperson. He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Holly Jasperson, his sister, Brook Jasperson Bevans (Jon Bevans), and grandfather, Don Jasperson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Berg Orem Chapel, 500 North State Street, Orem, Utah. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:50 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended at www.bergmortuary.com.
