Tyler D Adams

–

Provo, Utah

Tyler D Adams, age 37, passed away peacefully in his home on February 20, 2024. Tyler was born on April 3, 1986 in Provo, Utah. He is the son of Tony and Natalie Jeppson Adams. He attended Juaquin Elementary, Farrer Middle School and Timpview High School, graduating in 2004. He attended college at University of Utah for a short stent before joining the United States Air Force as a F-15 Dedicated Crew Chief.

Tyler met Keliah while stationed at Nellis AFB. Their relationship took off and landed them at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in 2015. Tyler was a wonderful stepdad to Keliah’s older boys Abel & Josiah Easley. They were blessed with another beautiful son, Tristen Adams in 2017. Together the family enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling to visit family.

He was passionate about the outdoors ever since he was a young kid. Tyler talked about all the scouting events he had growing up. He learned that when he started dating Keliah, he could go hunting & fishing in the hidden gem of MN. He was excited to share his hunting stories and fishing stories with anyone that would listen. He would go for weeks talking about the Big one he shot that got away, or any deer season really. He would take the kids fishing on grandpas’ boat in UT. Between the adventures of MN & UT, he was living his outdoor dreams!

Tyler served with distinction in the USAF from 2006 until his passing, where his dedication and pursuit of perfection were evident in every task he undertook. Tyler served on two deployments to Afghanistan, numerous TDYs, stationed at Seymour Johnson, Kadena, and Nellis AFB. His unwavering commitment to his duties was matched only by his commitment to his family and those he mentored. During his time, he was recognized with multiple awards, including one for putting out Fires on the aircraft. If only we recorded his side of the story for those fires!

He was known for his gift of storytelling. Tylers tales were a source of joy, animation, and infectious laughter, a reflection of his charisma he shared with all those who had a pleasure to know him. He enjoyed making food for his friends and family. His ability to make a meal better than the last, (even if he put hot sauce on just about everything), had a way to create a welcoming environment. His home was filled with lots of laughs, a variety of music but primarily anything before the 90’s, and a fun time when family and friends came over.

He is survived by his wife, Keliah; sons, Tristen (7), Josiah (11), Abel (13); parents, Tony & Natalie; brother, Brendon; grandparents, Rudy & Myrna Carnesecca. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Mike & Beth Leino; brothers-in-law, Josh (Heather), & Aaron; nieces & nephew, aunts, uncles & cousins. He loved his family.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandpa, Douglas Jeppson; grandma, Tonya and grandpa, David Adams; cousin, Christopher Esquivel (2 days prior), & Rocky the family dog (4 days prior).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Provo Peak 7th Ward Chapel, 502 East 200 North, Provo, Utah.
