Verlene "Vicky" Brady Henderson Obituary (1934

Verlene “Vicky” Brady Henderson, a loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born on July 18, 1934 in Fairview, Utah, the youngest of 6. The family later moved to Utah county where she met and later married Ivan B. Henderson Jr. They were blessed with 4 children. She was a dedicated and skilled homemaker who enjoyed the responsibilities and challenges of running a growing and busy household. Later in life she pursued her desire to teach and found it to be very rewarding. She met new friends and made many lifelong relationships. She truly enjoyed her time spent with friends on a weekly bowling league, the women’s club that met once a month, and golfing with her sister in-law Margret Henderson. Verlene is survived by three children, Terie, Troy, and Lisa; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister Thera Lou Bird and numerous nieces and nephews. Verlene was preceded in death by her husband; Ivan B Henderson Jr., Son, Hal Henderson; Mother Rintha Marie Brady; Father Marion J Brady; Brothers, Burness Brady, Keith Brady, and Elwood Brady; and sister Beverly Clements. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.
