Verlon Terry Scott Obituary (1952

Verlon Terry Scott died in his home in Provo, Utah on 18 July 2015. He was born 16 June 1952 and grew up in Provo. He married his high school sweetheart, Lorna Lee Lewis, on 1 July 1970. She passed away 11 Sept 1985. They were sealed recently in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Terry farmed property with his family in Provo, Utah. He also did drywall work and framing. He lived for camping, hunting and fishing. He took two trips to Alaska and went on fishing excursions there. He attended night school and graduated from Provo High recently; an accomplishment he was very proud of. He is survived by his son, Shane Scott; daughter, Debbi Edmonds; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verlon Gene Scott and Dorthy Holm-Scott, and his wife, Lorna Lee Lewis. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Parkway 1st Ward Chapel, 2801 West 620 North, Provo, Utah. Friends may call from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services.
