The Jesse Knight Home and Berg Mortuary’s History

Our Provo location occupies the historic Jesse Knight home, built in 1905. In 1935, the Berg family purchased the home and moved their mortuary to this Center Street address, beginning a new chapter in the building’s history. An expansion completed in 1948 provided additional space for services and the care of families.

Generations of Utah County families have since gathered here to remember parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends. For many, the building is already a familiar place, connected to meaningful moments in their family’s history. We honor that trust by continuing to offer compassionate, personal attention to every family we serve.
